Basic Settings

Basic WorldSpice settings for any Email Program Setup

  • user name: your full email address, example@YourDomain.com
  • password: your Worldspice Email password, must be at least 8 characters, we recommend lower and upper case letters, numbers and symbols

Incoming Server:

  • mail.YourDomain.com
  • If POP3 account type: server port=110
  • If IMAP account type: server port=143
  • SSL and SPA off
  • Authentication: Password only or 'None'

Outgoing Server:

  • smtp.YourDomain.com
  • Server port may need to be changed to 587
  • SSL and SPA off
  • Authentication: Password only or 'None'
  • You may be able to select “Use same settings as incoming server”

     

    We recommend for a POP set-up that you check 'Leave a copy on the server', at the very least for 14 days, to have a backup on our server in case something happens to the device where mail is downloaded. This is usually found in advanced settings. It is also advisable in that same section to select 'Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'.'
